I just wanted to show my support for the Board. I know you get a lot of guff for enforcing the rules, but thank you for stepping up to the plate and being in your positions.
Our community rules are very important. There is limited law enforcement and nearly no code enforcement in this county. If you don't want a junk yard next door, living in a planned community with rules that are strictly enforced is the place to be. Criminals cannot thrive in a community with enforced rules. That is to our advantage.
I know rules are a pain for everyone at times, they can be inconvenient, but we are here because of them. Speaking of criminals, I would support a rule that anyone commiting a felony within our gates should be fined $1,000 and any property or violent crime amounting to a misdemeanor should be fined $500. That will really help with those problem homes and attract law abiding neighbors.
