REC CLUB 2011 -- JIM SAULSBERY
Our meeting 11-12 was a super affair! Jim talked & talked but didn’t say much. Well, that’s not exactly true. We did discuss our June BBQ. What a grand party this will be! The date? June 9, Lake Club from 2:00 p.m. until whenever! It will be a catered affair. We will be served dinner on the deck, we will have boat rides on the lake, we will be served champagne on the boat rides, & whatever we can think of between now and then! Remember, this is members only. Sorry, no guests! We have an overnight Reno trip in March. We will be staying at the Circus Circus -- for more info, call Joe Harris at 347-3381. We also discussed a jet boat ride on the Klamath River & possibly a dinner at a lodge about 20 miles up river. Donna Eddy spends the summer at Klamath, so she will keep me informed! By the way, Larry goes too! Remember, no meeting in Dec. Our next meeting will be Jan. 14, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at the Lake Club. Be there! It will be a potluck, Pauline!!

The Murder Mystery Event was a huge success. Close to 70 people attended the event and fun was had by all. A very special thanks goes to the role players who went above and beyond to make this event a real hit. They all came in costume which made the evening so entertaining and successful. They will forever be remembered as:
Dave & Diane Anders: Chief “Hawk-Who-Watches” and Sharpshooter Annie Elmley.
Fred & Gloria Dickey: Newspaper Editor Hannibal P. Hanks and Saloon Owner Cattie Adams.
Gene & Judy Evans: Blacksmith Flint Flames and School Teacher Bonnie Crockett.
Gary & Fay Reese: Banker Abraham Patton and Writer J.P. James.
Jim & Lee Saulsbery: Mayor Beauregard T. Brady and Doc Tricia Truehart.
And Bill Law as Dusty Jones, the man that all of them wanted dead and writer J.P. James succeeded.
The Rec Club meets on the second Saturday of every month at 6:00 PM for a pot luck dinner and meeting. Bring a dish and come and join us, you’ll have fun I guarantee.
