Lake California Boosters have been active in the community for over 25 years and the purpose of the club is to raise funds for improvements to Lake California. This year, look for the beautiful new benches on the front deck of the remodeled club house and the new lights at the entrance gate.
New members are always welcome, so if you would like to volunteer with the club, the Boosters meet the first Thursday of every month at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake Club. If you are new to Lake California, this is an excellent way to make new friends and you will find that the Boosters are some of the nicest people in Lake California. .

LC Booster Sponsored Scholarships 2012

The Lake California Boosters will award two $500 scholarships to high school seniors who will graduate this year. This is the 7th year
the Boosters have offered these scholarships to residents of Lake California who will be attending an accredited trade school, college or university.
Applications have been sent to the counseling offices of the local high schools and are available at the POA office. The deadline for filing an application is April 20, 2012.

Lake California Boosters can say 2011 was concluded as a fun and successful year. Members facilitated the presentation of two scholarships for local high school seniors, improvements to Booster Park, donation to our community fireworks, Angels program to provide Christmas gifts for several seniors in our community, provided Christmas decor for various festivities during the holiday season in the Lake Club, and several projects are in process.January’s meeting was filled with discussion and the planning of upcoming community events. 2012 will be filled with lots of fun and varied activities. Our first for 2012 . . . Plan now for the “special someone in your life” by attending the Boosters Valentine’s Day Gala on Saturday, February 18th at the Lake Club. Please keep an eye on
the poster board at the gate and the reader board for details. Heard the tales concerning the great combination of Don Larson and Pat Riley with their corn beef and fixings for St. Patty’s Day? Mark your calendar now for March 24th for Dinner and Bunco Evening. So . . . once again . . . If you are interested in community involvement and participating in enriching our community . . . Boosters meet the first Thursday of every month at 10:00 am in the Lake Club. So . . . FEBRUARY 2nd is the next
meeting date to remember.
