Booster News

The hardworking Booster members took a rest in April, but the club is getting ready for Home Pride Day on May 24th.  This is an all-day affair from 7:30 a.mn. to 6:00 p.m. and the Boosters will be there directing traffic, checking to see that only Lake California residents are dumping trash, working at the flea market, selling refreshments, and overseeing the whole event.

For the third year, the Booster's are offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior from Red Bluff High School and $500 to a graduating senior from West Valley High School.  All applicants must be Lake California residents.  Applications have been sent to the school counselors and the Boosters will be evaluating the applications at the next meeting.

Boosters meet the first Thirsday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the library at the Lake Club.  Signs for Home Pride Day are the project for the May 1st, 2008 meeting.  Everyone is welcome, so come to the library and meet some really nice people.
