A/C Proposed Rule Change - Signage & Fencing
Community Notice: Proposed Signage and Fencing Requirements
28-Day Community Comment Period
The Lake California Property Owners Association is seeking community comments on proposed Signage and Fencing Requirements for new construction. The Architectural Committee has recommended adding these requirements to the LCPOA rules.
The proposed requirements are intended to help prevent unfinished construction projects from remaining inactive for extended periods and to ensure that active construction sites are clearly identified.
Under the proposal, a “JOB SITE” sign must be posted before work begins and remain clearly visible for the duration of the project.
The proposal also addresses construction fencing when no work or activity has taken place for three consecutive months.
These provisions are intended to improve safety and provide clear notice to community members, property owners, and contractors.
If adopted, the Signage and Fencing Requirements will be incorporated into the new construction application packet.
Property owners and contractors will be required to review and acknowledge the requirements as part of the new construction application process.
Community Comment Period: Comments will be accepted for 28 days from the date this notice is posted. Please send all comments to general@lakecalifornia.net. Or you can bring your hand written comments to the POA office.
After the comment period closes, the Board may consider final adoption of the proposed rule.
