Reopening update

Please note that we are working with Tehama County on reopening. As of now we will not be opening the Landing for in house dining. We will still be doing take out orders only. We also do not have an answer on when we will be able to open up the lounge.

As for the pool there is no mention of an opening date for the pool, so as of now the pool will NOT be opening next weekend as we had hoped for.

We should know by next Friday (May 22nd) more details on the Landing.

Lounge still closed

Update - per the calendar that was sent out at the end of last month it showed that the lounge would be back open this week, however that was printed and sent out before we received the extension for the stay at home orders. Please note that the lounge is still closed at this time and will remain closed until further notice. The Landing is still open for TO GO ORDERS ONLY. Please stay safe.

Events Cancelled!

Due our new extension to stay at home until the end of April, we will be cancelling all events for the month of April. This will include the Community Yard Sale on April 18th, both bands schedules for the month of April as well as Karaoke. Updates

As we are ordered to shelter at home, I just want to give you a few updates. Please be advised the the POA staff will still be available during normal business hours, we are asking that you restrict traffic to the office. You can call the office with any questions or concerns, make payments over the phone, make payments via drop slot in the door. Also please feel free to e-mail me at general@lakecalifornia.net and I will be happy to get back to you, we are still here to help during this difficult time.

The lounge will be closed, however the Landing will be opened for take out orders only, there will be no in house dining available. Please call ahead to place your order at 347-7906,. Also, please be patient with the Landing staff as they prepare your to go orders. They will be able to take your credit card over the phone, then you can just run in the side door and grab your food and go, if you need to pay cash you will still need to go into the lounge to pay ONLY, then go over to the roll up door and grab your food. The staff will get you in and out as quickly as possible and should be able to give you a time frame when you call.

We appreciate everybody’s patience as we all work through this together. Stay safe, enjoy your family and we will continue to update as we get new information and details.

Architectural Applications

Good morning Lake California Residents:

With our current conditions, we are halting ALL A/C applications for the next couple weeks. We will not accept any new applications, new constructions or any current open applications will not be inspected. The A/C meeting that was scheduled for April 1st will be postponed, we can possibly reschedule is for April 8th however that will also be tentative depending on the circumstances.

We do not want to put any of our volunteers at risk sending them to do any inspections at anybody’s homes.. We hope you all stay safe, shelter at home and enjoy your time with your families.

Update Lounge, Landing & Office hours

As everybody is aware things are constantly changing with this COVID-19. We are constantly watching and monitoring the updates. We will post updates here as needed and until further notice, the Office, Lounge and Landing will continue to be open. The Landing will be available for take out orders if you do not want to be around the crowds, there will be tables set up in the LC far enough apart that will only seat 8-10 people for those of you that would prefer the smaller groups. We will also continue to sanitize with the commercial sanitizers on a daily basis.

Hook playing this Saturday 03/14/2020 @ Lake Club

There has been a switch in bands for this Saturday March 14th. I received notice that Morris n Love was not going to be able to make it, so we are going to bring in a new band called HOOK. This band is 4 talented performers from Billy and the Jets, Morris n Love, Sugar and NorthBeat combined which have all played out here before. HOOK is an electric blend of Rock / Pop / Soul / Funk. Jane Love, Preston Jacobs, Roy Disney & Willie Kong bring you music from their favorite artists: Brandi Carlile, Amos Lee, The Beetles, Bonnie Raitt, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Nora Jones, Amy Winehouse and many more. So, come on out and enjoy some great music and get up and dance!!

GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 19 - 03 & REZONE NO. 19 - 02 LEVIATHAN, INC. (LAKE CALIFORNIA).

Leviathan, Inc. is requesting a General Plan Amendment from SP/SR; Special Planning Overlay/SF; Suburban Residential to a General Commercial General Plan Land Use designation, and map rezone the existing NR; Natural Resource Lands and Recreation to a C-2, General Commercial Zoning District. The project site is located on the northeast corner of Lake California Drive and Rio Alto Drive in the Community of Lake California an unincorporated area of Tehama County and further described as a portion of Section 21, Township 29N, Range 3W, M.D.B. & M. The project is proposed on 22 acres of the 261.74 acre parcel. It includes the future development of a self-storage facility, retail sales and professional offices, along with a self-service vehicle wash facility on approximately 10 acres of the 22 acres. The development consists 11 buildings adjacent to the equestrian facility, the remaining 12 acres is anticipated to be future commercial development.
