TCHSA in booking COVID vaccine appointments, the staff confirmed that the best way for you to 'get in line' for a vaccine is to use this web link. Scroll down to 'COVID vaccination request' and fill out the information. TCHSA has a large volume of backlog and everyone is working hard to get through that as soon as possible. Here are a few things to be aware of:
· * An incoming call will probably not say 'TCHSA' on your caller ID. At least for several people I know, the call came in as a 530 number with no caller ID. It may be best to answer your phone even if there is no caller ID if you are waiting for an appointment. If you do not answer, staff will leave a voicemail with your appointment information. If you cannot make that appointment you will need to get rescheduled and that may mean you wait longer.
· * On this same website, the vaccination distribution plan (scroll down a bit further) explains why they are asking for your "Occupation or other qualifying factor for phase 1 vaccination" The plan explains who is included in Phase 1.

it’s that time of the year again for our annual Holiday Share Program. We have placed wrapped barrels at three different locations to collect unwrapped toys and non perishable food items. We have our collection barrels at Goff Hall, the Lake Club Landing food area and your Fire Station. We will be collecting food and toys until Dec 15th, 2020. All toys will benefit kids in Tehama County and the food will go to our local Salvation Army. Please help us help others by donating today. Last year we were able to donate to the program and we look forward to doing it again. Your help is appreciated. We hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday Season.
