No Fireworks in Lake California!
We would like to remind all residents of the LCPOA community Rules & Regulations RR-06-09 FIREWORKS states that “No fireworks shall be discharged within the properties of Lake California, with the exception of the commercial July 4 holiday celebration display over Lake California Lake. Violators shall be subject to a mandatory fine starting at $250.00.” Aside from the use of fireworks being a violation of the community rules, with very dry wildfire fuel conditions it is also extremely irresponsible and dangerous for the entire community.

Neighborhood Watch
Hi all, we are trying to get our Lake California Neighborhood Watch program re-started. At the Neighborhood Watch Zoom meeting last week we mentioned a survey to gauge the level of community support for a volunteer-run Lake California Neighborhood Watch program. The survey also looks to see what day/time and format will work best for residents. Please consider submitting a response and pass the link to your neighbors. Here is the link to the survey https://forms.gle/bJboBWkFN1JParLt5

**Pool Status Update as of 6/1/20**
We received word that the Pool Opening plan the POA submitted to Tehama County is accepted. BUT we were also told by Tehama County that we may not open the pool until Governor Newsom approves Stage 3 opening. So to recap we are ready to go once the Governor allows Stage 3 and pools to open.
When the pool is opened, we are required to post signs stating that facial coverings are recommended when social distancing is not possible.
As soon as the Governor allows the pool to open and we have an opening date we will notify the community. Stage 3 plans are on the Tehama County Board of Supervisors agenda for tomorrow so we may have further information later this week.
We appreciate your understanding and we know that residents are frustrated, but following the rules protects the community against the pool being shut down all season.

Reopening update
Please note that we are working with Tehama County on reopening. As of now we will not be opening the Landing for in house dining. We will still be doing take out orders only. We also do not have an answer on when we will be able to open up the lounge.
As for the pool there is no mention of an opening date for the pool, so as of now the pool will NOT be opening next weekend as we had hoped for.
We should know by next Friday (May 22nd) more details on the Landing.
Thank you all for your understanding, POA staff
